Hall of Fame Induction
In October 2019, the National Football Museum chose to induct Cyrille posthumously into the Hall of Fame at one of our Strike A Change events held at Aston Villa. Tim Desmond, CEO of the Museum presented the award to Cyrille's wife Julia, brother David and niece Simona. Former international footballer John Barnes attended the event to speak to the group and participated in the presentation. An honour to Cyrille's legacy.

Trust Launch
The Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust was officially launched on 26th July 2019 at The Hawthorns stadium with their flagship mentoring project 'Strike A Change'. Les Ferdinand attended as guest speaker alongside David Regis, Cyrille's brother and other members of the family. Over 100 young people from across the region enjoyed a day of educational activities and inspirational talks.

Celebrity Golf day 2019
On Friday, May 24, The Belfry played host to our inaugural Celebrity Golf Day.

Close to 100 people, including football icons Ron Atkinson and Dwight Yorke, were in attendance to show support and raise funds as we continue Cyrille’s charitable work in the local community and beyond.

After 18 holes on the Brabazon, one of the world’s premier tournament golf courses, players and professionals were joined by Cyrille’s family for a drinks reception and two-course dinner in the Wishaw Suite.

A signed print of The Man himself sold for £4,000 as we brought proceedings to a close with a silent auction and prize-giving ceremony.

More than £15,000 was raised as a result of a memorable day. Thank you all for your continued support.

Here's to the next!
